Mickey’s Glow Up

This is Mickey, and his Jockey club name is Indy Ide. He’s is a 9 year old, 16 hand chestnut gelding and has been off the track for two and a half years. He’s a super cool guy with a huge personality and loves his job as an eventer! Mickey came off the track in 2016 where he was restarted in dressage. He then went to him first home but didn’t adjust well. That’s when we found each other! Mickey (JC: Indy Ide) came home with me in September of 2021. Today is our 9 month anniversary 🙂 We spent the winter taking lessons and getting to know each other and last month we made our eventing debut together at the Kentucky horse park (Mickey came in 11th overall for the TIP award!). Mickey enjoys galloping across cross country, water, jumping, cookies and being photogenic. I couldn’t have wished for a better horse and being an ottb makes it so much more fun!
